2022 Ford Escape Scheduled Maintenance

Now that you have made the decision to bring home a new 2022 Ford Escape from Klaben Ford, what comes next? Understanding what your warranty checkups and inspections will look like at the 30, 60, and 90,000 mile marks can make a big difference when it comes to keeping your new Escape on the road and covered by your factory warranty for the full duration of its term. At Klaben Ford, our Certified Ford Service Center and trained service technicians are here to help guide you through the ins and outs of your warranty periods all the way from initial purchase until you decide to trade in or purchase a new vehicle at some point in the future.

What to Expect at Your Escape’s 30,000 Mile Scheduled Maintenance at Klaben Ford

The first in the three major vehicle checkups for continued warranty coverage, the 30,000-mile service will focus on a few of the most common parts to wear out and need to be replaced, such as air filters and brake pads, plus tires can be rotated to improve wear and life expectancy. However, if your Escape is being driven in an especially hard or extreme environment, there is a greater expectancy that more of these items will need to be addressed.

What to Expect at Your Escape’s 60,000 Mile Scheduled Maintenance at Klaben Ford

The second major milestone for warranty checkups or inspections is the 60,000-mile service. At this service, it is likely that your Ford Escape will have had items such as spark plugs, brake pads, oil, air, and cabin filters and fluids changed at least once, multiple times in the case of the oil system. At this visit, the focus will be on items that display unusual wear patterns due to poor fit or excess use. If these items are identified, they must be dealt with at this point to prevent further damage. Failure to do so in systems such as the drivetrain, steering column, and other essential systems could cause damage resulting in major repairs.

What to Expect at Your Escape’s 90,000 Scheduled Maintenance Visit at Klaben Ford

The 90,000-mile service on your Ford Escape is the last of the three major checkups and gives you an accurate depiction of the overall health of your vehicle beyond the warranty period. At this point, fluids have been changed, flushed, and monitored throughout the vehicle's life and any ongoing issues have been identified and repaired. At this appointment, the transmission will be thoroughly inspected, it will be flushed, and its fluid will be changed if it has not been done in previous checkups. While the 90k inspection is your last required checkup, it's important to maintain proper preventative maintenance and inspections throughout the life of your vehicle.
